Donald Trump Turning Against His Beloved Son-In-Law Jared Kushner, Has Become “Sour And Dark”

Since firing FBI Director James Comey, Trump has apparently become emotionally unhinged, lashing out at even those closest to him. As the New York Times reports, Trump has been complaining that he had to fire National Security Adviser Michael Flynn—despite that Flynn was a danger to the country.

Even stranger, Trump is directing his bitterness at his son-in-law Jared Kushner, whom Trump initially put most of his faith in. “[Trump’s] own mood, according to two advisers who spoke on the condition of anonymity, has become sour and dark,” the Times reports, “turning against most of his aides — even his son-in-law, Jared Kushner — and describing them in a fury as ‘incompetent,’ according to one of those advisers.”

Of course, Trump is correct in this assessment. He’s chosen to surround himself with people who have no experience in politics or diplomacy, and now he’s angry that they don’t have the know-how to do the jobs he shouldn’t have hired them to do.

Even more bizarre is the fact that Trump probably didn’t leak anything too sensitive to Russia because he can’t comprehend the intel reports. As the Times claims:

“In private, three administration officials conceded that they could not publicly articulate their most compelling — and honest — defense of the president: that Mr. Trump, a hasty and indifferent reader of printed briefing materials, simply did not possess the interest or knowledge of the granular details of intelligence gathering to leak specific sources and methods of intelligence gathering that would do harm to United States allies.”

The President doesn’t possess the interest or knowledge on sources pertaining to the safety of his own country.  That might be worse than if he had intentionally leaked information to Russia. His ignorance is a danger, especially since he’s having the very mood swings that so many of his supporters feared a female president would have.
