Donald Trump held a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni at the White House today. During the presser, Trump referred to famed tenor Luciano Pavarotti as “a good friend of mine”.
Only problem…Pavarotti died 10 years ago.
Prior to the presser, the world leaders met to speak privately for the first time. Trump is scheduled to visit Italy next month to attend his first Group of Seven summit, where he will meet with other industrialized nations.
Trump gives a shout out to Pavarotti, calls him "a good friend of mine".
