Trump parrot Kellyanne Conway has faithfully defended the President’s claims that Obama had Trump’s “wires tapped”, blaming of all things…a microwave.
“You can surveil people through their phones”…”certainly through their television sets, any number of different ways. And microwaves that turn into cameras, et cetera.”
But when CNN asked for specific proof she deflected, stating that she was referring to general surveillance, not the precise allegation of wiretapping Trump Tower. She vehemently stated, “I’m not in the job of having evidence”.
Truth is, no one in the Trump administration is “in the job” of having evidence. House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep Devin Nunes (R-Calif) and the panel’s ranking Democrat, Rep Adam Schiff (D-Calif) have demanded proof of Trump’s allegations. The deadline has passed and no proof has been presented.
All the administration has is the defense of ever present fall-man Sean Spicer, telling the press that Trump didn’t mean wiretapping, in the tweet where he accused Obama of wiretapping.
