Apparently, the idea of “alternative facts” are not new concepts for Kellyanne Conway.
Lately, Kellyanne has taken the heat for suggesting that we live in a world where microwaves have cameras and our phones can spy on us to defend Trump allegations that Barack Obama spied on Trump Tower during the election.
Conway, in short, has become the rapid attack dog for the administration, willing to say anything and attack anyone to defend her boss, President Donald J. Trump.
However, it wasn’t always this way.
Formerly an advisor and member of Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s campaign, Conway was a loud critic of then candidate Trump. Accusing not just Trump’s campaign team, but Trump himself of heavy-handed tactics and even outright lying to the voters (back then facts were facts at least where Trump was concerned for Conway).
“We could just brush it off, but it shows you the danger of just saying things that aren’t true and getting people to believe it and getting 20,000 people at a rally today to just lap it up as if it’s true,”
So this means that either one night while microwaving and posing for selfies, Conway had a change of heart deciding to support Trump or like many on the Alt-Right, she sold her soul and dignity for the power and prestige of being a White House advisor.
No matter what led to her amazing change of heart, one bit of irony remains. The very advice and attacks that Conway gave to the American people during her tenure as a Cruz advisor is one hundred percent spot on.
