Breaking News: Trump is a narcissist and a megalomaniac!

John D. Gartner, a Professor at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, has boldly claimed that “Donald Trump is dangerously mentally ill and temperamentally incapable of being president.”

Gartner has diagnosed the president with “malignant narcissism” and has detailed the symptoms and warning signs of such a condition including:

  • Anti-social behavior
  • Sadism
  • Aggressiveness
  • Paranoia
  • Grandiosity
  • Entitlement
  • Regression
  • Manipulative tendencies
  • Destructive tendencies
  • Egocentric
  • Use of projection
  • Lack of conscience
  • Narcissism

He further explains that those suffering from malignant narcissism have zero impulse control or empathy and that those around them lack the ability to appreciate their greatness. He also adds that this particular disorder is entirely incurable.

While this diagnosis is a breach of “The Goldwater Rule”, an informal part of the American Psychiatry Association’s ethics code which states that a psychiatrist should not provide a professional opinion to a public figure without in person examination and consent to evaluate, Gartner views this as a very special case. “We’ve seen enough public behavior by Donald Trump now that we can make this diagnosis indisputably.”

Considering the fact that Trump is our “fearless leader” for the next four years, Gartner can easily diagnosis the citizens of the United States as “totally screwed.”
