Donald Trump has repeatedly said that he doesn’t know Russian president Vladimir Putin. So in his mind, there is no reason why anyone should think that Putin wanted to help Trump win the election.
Well, that’s a lie.
Here are two videos that directly contradict each other.
Video #1 — Trump admits relationship with Putin in 2013
Here is the transcript from the above video:
So when we talk about what the current politics are back at home. We know that there is a tense relationship between President Obama and Vladimir Putin, especially when it comes to world stage issues. Do you have a relationship with Vladimir Putin, a conversational relationship or anything that you feel you have sway or influence over his government?
“I do have a relationship, and I can tell you that he’s very interested in what we’re doing here today. He’s probably very interested in what you are saying today, and I’m sure he’s going to be seeing this in some form, but I do have a relationship with him.
And I think it’s very interesting to see what happened. I mean look, he’s done a very brilliant job in terms of what he represents and whom he’s representing. If you look at what he’s done with Syria, if you look at so many of the different things he has really eaten our president’s lunch.
Let’s not kid ourselves. He’s done an amazing job. He’s put himself, really as you know, a lot of people would say he’s put himself at the forefront of as a world leader in a short period of time.
Now in all fairness to Obama, I think that he’s done the same thing with President Bush. I think that Putin has done an amazing job of showing certain leadership that our people have not been able to match.”
And here is the second video…where he says the opposite:
And the transcript:
“I never met Putin — I don’t know who Putin is. He said one nice thing about me. He said I’m a genius. I said thank you very much to the newspaper. I never met Putin.
I would treat Vladimir Putin firmly, but there’s nothing I can think of that I’d rather do than have Russia friendly, as opposed to the way they are right now, so that we can go and knock out ISIS together with other people and with other countries. Wouldn’t it be nice if we actually got along with people? Wouldn’t it be nice if we actually got along, as an example, with Russia? I’m all for it and let’s go get ISIS because we have to get ISIS and we have to get them fast. You know what happened with that priest, it’s only going to get worse
And Hillary Clinton wants to allow 550% (five hundred and fifty percent) more people from that region into our country and we have no idea who they are, where they come from, where their documentation is. It’s only going to get worse and it’s going to start getting…”
So, do you think Trump is friends with Putin?
