Penguin Random House will publish two books by Barack and Michelle Obama, the publisher announced Tuesday night, for a total of $65 million. The couple will write their books separately but sold the book rights jointly.

Penguin Random House will reportedly donate one million books to First Book, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide books to disadvantaged children, and to Open eBooks, the White House’s 2016 partner for its digital-education initiative, ConnectED.

“We are absolutely thrilled to continue our publishing partnership with President and Mrs. Obama,” Markus Dohle, the chief executive of Penguin Random House, said in the statement to Vanity Fair. “With their words and their leadership, they changed the world, and every day, with the books we publish at Penguin Random House, we strive to do the same. Now, we are very much looking forward to working together with President and Mrs. Obama to make each of their books global publishing events of unprecedented scope and significance.”

Per the Times, the publishing house would not reveal whether the Obamas’ books will be memoirs but confirmed that the Obamas will donate part of their advances to charity, including to the Obama Foundation.

But conservatives are none too happy:
