Six White House staffers were escorted out of the White House by security on Thursday for failing an FBI background check, according to Politico.
The staffers were escorted from the building on Wednesday after they didn’t pass Form SF86, the EXTENSIVE multi-page “Questionnaire for National Security Positions.” In order to obtain security clearance all employees must pass the long and detailed questionnaire.
One of the dismissed staffers is Caroline Wiles, formerly the director of scheduling, and the daughter of Trump’s Florida campaign manager Susan Wiles. Instead she will be transferred to a job at the Treasury Department,
The background check includes questions about the applicant’s credit score, substance use and other personal subjects.
