Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to weigh in on the news that National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had resigned late Monday.

Clinton posted a link to a tweet from longtime confidante Phillipe Reines, who made a reference to Flynn and his son, who had propagated a conspiracy theory that connected Clinton and her campaign chief to the DC pizza shop Comet Ping Pong during the presidential election.

“Philippe’s got his own way of saying things, but he has a point about the real consequences of fake news,” Clinton tweeted.

“Dear Mike Flynn & Mike Flynn Jr., What goes around COMETS around,” Reines tweeted, along with a link to a job opening at Dominos Pizza.

In December, Michael Flynn Jr. tweeted about the armed man who entered Comet Ping Pong in Northwest D.C., because of a conspiracy theory that Clinton and her campaign chief ran a child-sex ring in a back room of the pizza shop.

“Until #Pizzagate proven to be false, it’ll remain a story,” Flynn Jr. tweeted at the time.

“The left seems to forget #PodestaEmails and the many ‘coincidences’ tied to it,” he added, referring to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta.

Until #Pizzagate proven to be false, it’ll remain a story. The left seems to forget #PodestaEmails and the many “coincidences” tied to it,” Flynn Jr. tweeted in a since deleted post.

Flynn resigned late Monday, after reports he misled senior Trump White House officials about his conversations with Russia.
