One thing which President Donald Trump cannot tolerate is the idea that individuals stand against him and his policies out of principle. Protests around the nation have erupted thanks to Trump’s backward activities, and Trump claimed on Twitter that all of the individuals protesting were paid to be there. After making such a foolish assertion he was ridiculed by the good people of Twitter for making such an outrageous statement.
The trouble began for Trump when he tweeted:
Professional anarchists, thugs and paid protesters are proving the point of the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2017
Immediately after Trump had the comment his Twitter feed exploded with replies, most of which were not of a kind of understanding variety:
@realDonaldTrump I protested peacefully this week. I did it because I despise your policies. Didn't know I could get paid. Will do it again.

@realDonaldTrump great point! Let's talk votes and the millions more who voted against you. Just about 3M more than the votes for you ??

Trump uses Twitter in a manner which has never been done before by a sitting president, and for good reason. Trump’s unhinged and unchecked comments are an embarrassment to the office of president. He surely has more important matters with which to deal rather than presenting an argument with no evidence. The reality is Trump will just have to warm up to the idea that millions of Americans do not like him.
