Outgoing Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday afternoon tweeted a farewell message, touting the Obama administration’s accomplishments and thanking America for the opportunity to serve as Vice President.

“15.8 million new jobs. 20 million more people insured. 165,000 troops home from war. Serving as your VP was the greatest honor of my life,” Biden tweeted.

The message comes on his last full day as vice president, with President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration Friday.

Biden and Obama shared their last weekly lunch on Thursday and maintained a low profile ahead of Trump’s inauguration.
