Donald Trump wanted to set a record…and he did, although not the type of record he wanted to set.
Attendance numbers for Trump’s swearing-in ceremony were abysmal.
No one expected Trump to meet the almost two million who attended Obama’s inauguration, but estimates did have approximately 800,000 attending.
That didn’t happen.
While we are waiting on final numbers, current estimates are around 600,000 – 700,000.
The crowds were so low that when setting up his @POTUS twitter account, Trump used a photo from Obama’s inauguration instead of one of his own.
