In terms of facts and logic these are things which are not set in stone regarding President-elect Donald Trump. He regularly muses about scenarios and exchanges which have no basis in reality. Such behavior can be evidenced by Trump’s recent grandiose lie that he alone is responsible for bringing 2,000 jobs to the U.S., which has been quickly shot down by individuals who have been paying attention.

At issue is Trump’s recent tweets about the company FCA US, which owns Fiat and Chrysler. The company announced they will spend $1 billion for plants in Michigan and which will create 2,000 new jobs. Trump, not missing a beat, took to Twitter to claim all of the glory for himself:

Well, good for Trump. Right? Wrong. When a spokesperson for the FCA was asked about the deal Trump claimed responsibility for they said:

This plan was in the works back in 2015. This announcement was just final confirmation.

Once again Trump finds himself humiliated at the hands of reality. If individuals did not have access to the Internet, Trump’s plans of bombarding the news with false assertions might actually work in his favor. Now Trump must, once again, begin to spin why he wasn’t lying and how the media has been dishonest by exposing his dishonesty.
