Four Days Out, Guess How Many Inauguration Tickets Are Still Available?

It appears Donald Trump’s inauguration crowd is going to be bad or maybe even the worst in modern American history? He’s only been able to draw a handful of D.C.-area wedding DJs and a handful of county fair musical acts. A growing list of congressional representatives have pledged to boycott the event and a D.C. council member says they’ve only received 200 bus applications (versus 1,200 for the protest march the very next day.)

But, perhaps the most telling sign this is shaping up to be an embarrassing disaster for Team Trump is the fact that only four days out from the event, Donald himself took to Facebook to record a message begging offering free tickets to anyone who wanted to attend.

Many venues that are normally packed during inaugurations are open. From Politico:

But Quinn said many of her friends are skipping the parties — she is attending a birthday party instead — and many just want to leave town. Vivian Deuschl, a longtime D.C. hospitality consultant, said associations are having parties, “but you aren’t having these glitzy, glamorous parties with the coveted invitations because the excitement is just not there.”

“There are lot of venues in town that are normally full that are empty,” said Philip Dufour, a D.C. party planner. “A lot of groups gave up holds on venues after the elections.”

Lesley Abravanel, also known as the Savvy Gadfly, announced the following on her verified Twitter account: “Thank you Donald Trump for already creating jobs! My friend is being paid to be a seat filler at your Inauguration!” Although some interpreted her claim as merely being a joke, she confirmed in the replies that it was in fact real.

In addition, all of the ticket brokers selling tickets to inauguration swearing in ceremony and parade have NUMEROUS tickets available.

Why do you think Donald Trump could pack a rally, but not his inauguration?
