In Meeting With Congressional Leaders, Trump INSISTED He Lost Popular Vote Due To Illegal Immigrants Voting

The era of the lying, tyrannical chief executive is now the new reality for the American people. President Donald Trump lives in a world of delusions and he made this evident during his recent meeting with congressional leaders from both parties.

Trump invited Republicans and Democrats to a reception at the White House. Rather than talk about his plans for running the country Trump took the time to babble on endlessly about how popular he is. Indeed, in Trump’s never ending question to be seen as a hero to the American people he lamented about how he would have won the popular vote had it not been for illegal immigrants voting in the election. Trump has stated, numerous times without evidence, that 3 to 5 million individuals who were not eligible to vote cast their ballots in favor of Hillary Clinton. This must be easier for him to swallow rather than the reality that Hillary Clinton won more votes than he did because the majority of Americans did not want him to be their president.

The meeting was behind closed doors but Republican House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy confirmed Trump’s comments without going into explicit detail. McCarthy said, “We talked about different electoral college, popular vote going through the different ones. Well, we talked about going back through past elections. Everyone in there goes through elections and stuff so everybody’s giving their different histories of different parts.”
