It turns out some celebrities will be at the inauguration after all. Some Hollywood stars will be in town for inauguration weekend, including wJohn Leguizamo, “Madam Secretary” actor Tim Daly, “Mad Men” actress Christina Hendricks and “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress Cheryl Hines among those poised to descend on Washington next week to advocate for the arts.
The performers will be attending the Creative Coalition’s inaugural ball next Friday, the nonpartisan arts advocacy group announced on Tuesday. Blues Traveler is headlining the benefit gala, which the Creative Coalition says “stands out as the most defining bipartisan gathering in the nation’s capital.”
“Veep” star Reid Scott, “Orange is the New Black” actress Alysia Reiner, Dean Norris from “Breaking Bad,” singer Sam Moore, Wendi McLendon-Covey from “The Goldbergs,” “Arrested Development’s” Alia Shawkat, Mae Whitman from “Parenthood,” and “Madam Secretary’s” Geoffrey Arend, are also among the talent line-up coming to DC.
While the performers will be in town on Friday, they are not performing at the inauguration.
