Former “Apprentice” contestant Omarosa Manigault is expected to join Donald Trump’s White House staff, The Associated Press reported Tuesday.
In her role, Manigault, who appeared on the first season of NBC’s “The Apprentice,” will focus on public engagement, the AP reported, citing two sources familiar with the decision.
Manigault was a vocal supporter of Trump during his White House bid, attending the Republican National Convention in July and later joining his campaign as director of African-American outreach.
Last month, Trump’s transition team announced that Manigault would serve on the transition team’s executive committee.
Believe it or not, Manigault has worked in the White House before. She previously worked in the office of Vice President Al Gore during the Clinton administration.
“I worked in the White House already. I think every American should have the opportunity to serve their country,” she said.
