Trump’s Set To Pay $25 Million To Victims Of Trump University
Now that the presidential election has come to a close President-elect Donald Trump is changing his tune on a whole slew of issues. One in particular is the ominous lawsuit surrounding “Trump University” where he is accused of fraud by more than 5,000 his former students. Trump said he would never settle any of the lawsuits, but now that he no longer has to save face with the public, as it is too late for them to change their minds, he is looking to throw money at the problem to make it go away.
In the past Trump said, “I don’t settle cases. I don’t do it because that’s why I don’t get sued very often, because I don’t settle, unlike a lot of other people. You know what, let’s see what happens in court.”
Here’s some more proof of Trump promising not to settle the lawsuit:
The phony lawsuit against Trump U could have been easily settled by me but I want to go to court. 98% approval rating by students. Easy win

And then there is this beauty from a few days later:
The primary plaintiff in the phony Trump University suit wants to abandon the case. Disgraceful!

He’ll never settle anything, or so he says. The New York Daily News has reported otherwise and they say Trump is ready to settle:
In a complete turnaround from his previous position, President-elect Donald Trump is nearing a settlement of the fraud cases brought in New York and California involving his now defunct for-profit Trump University, the Daily News has learned.
The proof will be in the pudding, and if and when Trump does eventually pay out millions of dollars then the public will finally know the truth.
