Glenn Beck, who man who once called President Obama a “racist” with a “deep-seated hatred of white people” says he’s had a change of heart.
In an interview with The New Yorker, Beck said, “I did a lot of freaking out about Barack Obama.”
Beck adds that, “Obama made me a better man.”
Beck told the New Yorker that he now supports the Black Lives Matter movement. “There are things unique to the African-American experience that I cannot relate to,” he said. “I had to listen to them.” Beck said he had an unsettling meeting with Donald Trump, whom he calls “dangerously unhinged.”
In the article, Beck also discussed Trump, saying:
Beck’s interactions with Donald Trump helped, too. He told a story of Trump summoning him to a guest room at Mar-a-Lago; Trump then telephoned him from an adjacent room. “We had this weird, almost Howard Hughes-like conversation,” Beck said. He left convinced that Trump was nuts. “This guy is dangerously unhinged,” he said. “And, for all the things people have said about me over the years, I should be able to spot Dangerously Unhinged.”
Of course Twitter found this hard to believe, and responded accordingly:
Glenn Beck says Obama made him a better man. What? This is the weirdest year ever. pic.twitter.com/1kx7NTjlWj

My jaw dropped so quickly that it broke off of my face and now it's rolling around on the floor and a dog ate it.https://t.co/P0FH0jmvdo

Glenn Beck shifting gears on Obama is like when Vader helps Luke in Jedi. Had to read it twice!

Do I have a head injury or did #GlennBeck really compliment President Obama?

Glenn Beck actually said Obama made him a better man. Did sun freeze over? At least 1 republican has learned something over these 8 years.
