The ability of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to stretch the truth to extraordinary lengths is well known, and considered by his supporters as one of his greatest assets and by his detractors as one of his greatest liabilities. It seems Trump’s own lawyers recognized, early on, that he had a problem telling the truth even when it came to legal proceedings. New documents, thousands of them, have become unearthed from Trump’s past depositions during the time he was going belly-up and bankrupt.
The information comes directly from Buzzfeed, which has been leading the charge of uncovering strange underreported information surrounding Trump. Apparently Trump’s lawyers had a cohesive strategy to deal with the truth-fudging billionaire, which included never meeting with him with less than two attornies, so that they could be able to corral him from spinning a web of fiction. While Trump paid lawyers to protect him, he could not help but lie to them too.
Trump’s lawyer stated under oath, “It’s always been our practice to make sure that two people are present, and we don’t have a problem with people lying.” He went on to say, “Hey, Trump’s a leader in the field of expert — he’s an expert at interpreting things. Let’s put it that way.” The attorney, George Miller, went on to say, “We tried to meet in pairs with Donald always if we could because Donald says certain things and then has a lack of memory.”
