The fallout continues for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump as more information is learned from the original shocking revelation uncovered by the New York Times that Trump lost $916 million in 1995. The monstrous loss may have allowed Trump the legal loophole of deducting his losses and not paying any taxes for at least 20 years, to which Trump says makes him brilliant. However, now Trump’s retired accountant is breaking his silence to pull back the curtain on Trump’s business operations.
Jack Mitnick, 80-years-young, has known Donald Trump since 1964 when he was first employed by Trump’s father, Fred Trump. Mitnick says he is the individual responsible for Trump’s tax dodging, and that he deserves the credit for all of Trump’s tax “brilliance.” Mitnick said, “I did all the tax preparation. He never saw the product until it was presented to him for signature. I’m the one who did all the work.”
The revelation from Mitnick, who spoke exclusively to Inside Edition, is in stark contrast to the tale of fiction Trump has been offering on the campaign trail. Trump has said, “I understand the tax laws better than almost anyone, which is why I’m the one who can truly fix them. I have brilliantly used those laws.”
When asked if Trump’s tax document looked real Mitnick, with his years of experience, confirmed what many have already been saying, “The face pages look authentic.”
The story of Trump’s alleged “brilliance” is continually unraveling, and soon he will be holding an empty sack — which is exactly what he is.
