After spending the entirety of his career being a chauvinistic misogynist Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump seems surprised that his candidacy is not supported by female voters. However, the campaign of Trump has shown they are unwilling to admit wrongdoing and rather prefer to attempt to spin their garbage into silk by blaming women for not supporting Trump.

A recent analysis of the present electorate by Nate Silver, Editor-in-chief of FiveThirtyEight, the statistical genius who accurately predicted the outcomes of all 50 states in the 2012 presidential election, found that if only women voted in the 2016 presidential election Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton would win in a stunning landslide by capturing 458 electoral votes out of a total possible 538. To keep things fair Silver also showed what would happen if only men voted in the election, with Trump winning the presidency with 350 electoral votes. While not a landslide, it is still an ominous sign of Trump’s support.

In learning this information Trump’s son, Eric Trump, wrote to his father’s supporters asking them to donate money to the campaign while highlight Silver’s map which showed only male voters. Trump wrote, “As one of the most dedicated grassroots leaders in the country you know, momentum matters. And right now all the momentum is on our side.”

The Trump electorate are so disgruntled with the news that women will prevent Trump from winning the presidency the hashtag “#repealthe19th” has begun to trend as those followers, who fancy themselves as patriots, seek to revoke the rights of women to cast their vote. How quaint.
