Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has begun to rely on highly inflammatory rhetoric now that his campaign has reached the point of no return and it appears he will not be willing the election for the presidency in less than two weeks. Rather than debate policy or talk about topics of interest Trump finds himself locked in a battle of words with Vice President Joe Biden. There is no love loss between the two political figures who have been trading barbs with one another for years.
Joe Biden started the latest round of rhetoric against Trump when he said, “The press always asks me: Don’t I wish I were debating him? No, I wish we were in high school — I could take him behind the gym. That’s what I wish.”
Trump responded that would be just fantastic with him:
Oh, I dream of that. You know what you do to Biden? He’d fall right over.
The failed businessman then raised a very valid point about if the rolls between the two were reversed. He asked, “Could you imagine if I ever made that statement? Biden said it and everyone thought it was a wonderful statement. Donald Trump is a bully, he threatened VP Biden.”
One can certainly picture that scenario unfolding, just as one tries their best to not vividly picture a sweating Trump and shirtless Biden, duking it out in a squared circle for the prize of nothing. However, in the very least, these two may be on to some kind of new reality television show.
