JUST IN: Megyn Kelly Breaks Silence, Makes HUGE Announcement Following Her On-Air Brawl With Newt Gingrich

Fox News host Megyn Kelly had a now infamous segment with former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich Tuesday night, that became an all-out battle. Now, conservatives, including Donald Trump, are praising Gingrich for his behavior, and chiding Kelly for not being conservative enough.

Kelly’s contract with Fox News is almost up, and sources say she will be leaving Fox News. However, Kelly gets the best ratings of any program on the network, so they obviously want her to stay.

According to the Wall Street Journal, “Mr. Murdoch said in an interview that she is important to the network and he hopes to get a contract signed ‘very soon,’ but noted, ‘it’s up to her.'” Adding: “We have a deep bench of talent, many of whom would give their right arm for her spot.”

But if Kelly leaves Fox News, another news network isn’t necessarily in the cards. Kelly is set to serve as a guest co-host of ABC’s “Live with Kelly!” on Nov. 9th, the day after the election. The appearance, would Fox would have had to approve, is another sign of her rising profile.

Kelly currently makes around $15 million this year, and wants north of $20 million per year with her new contract. Considering the way she is treated by Fox News, it would be interesting to see her at CNN or MSNBC, but I don’t see either network a good fit for her.
