Melania Trump is finally speaking, in two interviews, one to Anderson Cooper on CNN which will air Monday night, and one to Fox News that will air Tuesday morning.
In the interview with Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt, Melania Trump defends Donald Trump’s decision to attack Bill Clinton’s past behavior in response to the uproar over the leaked tape in which he brags about sexually assaulting women.
Melania said, “They’re asking for it. They started from the — from the beginning of the campaign putting my — my picture from modeling days. That was my modeling days and I’m proud what I did. I worked very hard.”
It has never been proven that the Clinton campaign had anything to do with the release of the nude photos that appeared in the Post a few months ago.
While Melania Trump said she found her husband’s comments on the tape, “offensive” and “inappropriate” she added, “I accept his apology. And we are moving on.”
In the interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, she said she believed that host Billy Bush “egged” her husband on, and that she has never heard Donald make those types of comments before.
