The brand new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll was released Sunday morning, and it appears it’s time to start practicing saying the words “Madam President”.
Hillary Clinton is ahead of Donald Trump by DOUBLE DIGITS with only 22 days left until Election Day. The poll shows that with the current 4 candidates, Clinton has 48% of the vote, Trump has 37%, Gary Johnson has 7% and Jill Stein has 2%. Yes, that is an 11 point lead for Hillary Clinton!
In a two-way contest without Johnson and Stein, Clinton is ahead by 10 points, 51% to 41%, but…all four candidates are on the ballot, which many Bernie Sanders voters planning to cast their votes for either Libertarian Johnson or Green Party candidate Stein. So the four-candidate poll truly is the most accurate in this election.
Let’s be clear…an 11 point lead is HUGE. Back in 2008, President Obama beat Sen. John McCain by 7-points, and in 2012, Obama beat Romney by 4-points.
Democratic pollster Fred Yang of Hart Research Associates, who conducted this poll with Republican pollster Bill McInturff and his firm Public Opinion Strategies, said, “Donald Trump’s chances of winning this election have faded. This poll is showing the writing on the wall.”
11 points everyone!! But don’t get complacent. As President Obama says, “Don’t Boo…VOTE”!
Come November 8th, will you be voting for Hillary Clinton?
