Trump’s top two advisers tied to elite RACIST club
A pair of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s campaign bosses have been tied to a hate group whose membership includes some of the most vile racists known.
Trump elevated Kellyanne Conway to be the manager of his campaign, and Breitbart News boss Steve Bannon to be his campaign’s CEO. Now an investigation has revealed that both Conway and Trump have been, or are currently, members of the cloak and dagger “Council for National Policy.” The Council for National Policy’s membership is described as “the most powerful conservatives in the country.” Not just anyone can gain membership, as it is invite only and the price is not cheap; ranging in the tens of thousands of dollars.
The Southern Poverty Law Center gained access to The Council for National Policy’s membership list from 2014, and found Conway was a member of the executive committee. Steve Bannon was also listed as a member. The list from 2016 is unknown, and therefore Conway and Bannon may no longer be listed as members, but that is irrelevant. Why? Consider who else is a member to this despicable club, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s report:
Michael Peroutka, a neo-Confederate who for years was on the board of the white supremacist League of the South.
Jerome Corsi, a strident Obama “birther” and the propagandist hit man responsible for the “Swift boating” of John Kerry.
Joseph Farah, who runs the wildly conspiracist “news” operation known as WorldNetDaily.
Mat Staver, the Liberty Counsel leader who has worked to re-criminalize gay sex.
Philip Zodhaites, another anti-gay activist who is charged with helping a self-described former lesbian who kidnapped her daughter from her former partner and fled the country.
Trump is only as good as the people with who he surrounds himself. He has chosen to make company with some of the ugliest political operatives working today. Those operatives have deep ties to racially motivated hate groups. All of this has transpired while Trump has attempted to soften his own image of being a racist, and this most recent revelation will certainly not help him in that effort.
