The hypocrisy is limitless when Republicans are on the hunt to pin something on Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. For years the right-wing has attempted to convict Clinton of a slew of nonsensical offenses, and has made a habit of coming up short just so they could continue the charade. Recently Clinton was giving a speech and found herself in a bit of a coughing fit, to which Republicans pointed was conclusive evidence she is lying about her health. On Sean Hannity’s radio program he hosted former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and the two discussed the scenario, but not before Gingrich fell ill with his own fit of coughing.
Gingrich said Clinton’s on-stage coughing was “a little disturbing.” Then, as if one was able to watch karma happening in real time, Gingrich began coughing too! Someone should have called paramedic and taken the elder statesmen off the set in stretcher. Hannity said, “Now you sound like Hillary! Can I get you a drink of water? By the way, yours didn’t last 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Thank God!” The former Speaker of the House took his hypocrisy in turn and made excuses for his bodily function which he had just lambasted Clinton for, “No, I’m in good shape. At least I’m in better shape than Hillary. A three-second cough does not equate to a four-minute-and-20-second cough.”
Gingrich then offered an excuse to justify his coughing:
I fly so much, my throat dries out.
One wonders who is flying more these days? Is it Newt Gingrich, or is it Hillary Clinton?
Listen to the nonsense below:
