The most watched moment of the Monday presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was Trump’s claim that he has a better temperament than Clinton to be President. The bizarre moment drew laughter from the crowd when they couldn’t believe that Trump was seriously trying to make the case that his attitude and disposition are his strongest assets and Hillary’s weakest.
Trump said: “I have much better judgment than she does. There’s no question about that,”
“I also have a much better temperament than she has […] I have a winning temperament. I know how to win. She does not have a winning temperament.”
“I think my strongest asset, maybe by far, is my temperament. I have a winning temperament. I know how to win,”
Via Salon: A recent New York Times/CBS News poll found that 55 percent of voters believe Clinton has “the right kind of temperament and personality to be a good president,” while only 31 percent said Trump did.
Hillary was quick to put out an ad that shows just how bad Trump’s temperament is, using his own words. Whether it’s Trump’s vile language or Trump inciting words, as Hillary would say “Words Matter”.
