Trump’s new campaign ad is as RACIST as you’d think it would be

The brand new campaign advertisement for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is everything one might think it would be: racist, hateful, and full of fear.

The ad, which will be aired in the four key battleground states of Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, is called “Two Americas: Immigration.” The content of the advertisement beings, “In Hillary Clinton’s America, the system stays rigged against Americans. Syrian refugees flood in. Illegal immigrants convicted of committing crimes get to stay. Collecting Social Security benefits, skipping the line. Our border open. It’s more of the same, but worse.” The advertisement then twists and offers a completely false comparison to Trump saying, “Donald Trump’s America is secure. Terrorists and dangerous criminals kept out. The border secured. Our families safe. Change that makes American safe again.”

Such babbling nonsense. Trump has called to expand torture, which has been shown to not work and further inflames tensions. Vilifying a billion individuals who are Muslim also does not make “America safe again”, it makes America less safe while damaging America’s image abroad.

The ad is striking in comparison to Trump’s recent speech he gave in Charlotte, NC when he apologized for causing pain to individuals with his past brash statements:

Sometimes, in the heat of debate and speaking on a multitude of issues, you don’t choose the right words or you say the wrong thing. I have done that. And believe it or not,I regret it. And I do regret it, particularly where it may have caused personal pain. Too much is at stake for us to be consumed with these issues.

It isn’t that members of the public with the ability to think for themselves didn’t already know Trump is a pathological liar, but now they have another example. On one day he says he is sorry for saying hurting things, and the next day his campaign releases an ad which does the exact opposite.
