Trump’s campaign spokesperson called Obama a “half-breed”

The rabbit hole of stupidity that is the Donald Trump presidential campaign continues to go to dark depths which nobody could have predicted. On CNN Trump’s spokesperson defended comments they made previously that President Barack Obama is a “half-breed.” For what other purposes would such a comment be made other than to stoke racial flames in the minds of Trump supporters?

While appearing on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” Trump’s national spokesperson, Katrina Pierson, proved herself to be anything but reliable. In 2012 Pierson Tweeted President Obama was not a “pure breed” because his father was born outside of the United States. CNN’s Host, Brian Stelter, offered Pierson the opportunity to retract her statement, to which she immediately declined. She said, ““No, not at all. These tweets — I’m an activist and I am a half-breed. I’m always getting called a half-breed. And on Twitter when you’re fighting with liberals and even establishment, you go back at them in the same silliness they are giving you.”

According to Pierson, who is representing a man who wants to be the next president, it is ok to do something stupid if someone else does something stupid. Does this imply Ms. Pierson would be willing to jump off of a bridge if she observed others before her taking a similar action?

Pierson continued to offer her bizarre explanation why she would not apologize, “So, I myself am a half-breed. We have entered silly season. Donald Trump is up in the polls. There’s desperate campaigns out there, they can’t take him down so they try to take down the people that are around him. And we’re just not going to get distracted by all that nonsense.”

It appears Trump’s campaign has completely broken with reality, as he is certainly not “up” in the polls and Pierson’s constant babbling embarrassment in front of the nation is not going to help in that effort either.
