Democratic Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is becoming comfortable in her role as an attack dog against Donald Trump as she slammed his recent economic plan in Detroit, where Trump, by the way also said the word “titties.”
Warren led the charge against Trump in Twitter and laid into him with a variety of criticisms claiming his policies be beneficial to corporations and not everyday Americans.
Trump’s speech at the Detroit Economic Club was an embarrassing attempt to correct the course of his campaign after a disastrous spread of gaffes where he insulted the family of a dead American soldier and kicked a crying baby out of one of his rallies.
The good senator from Massachusetts was not interested in mincing words. She tweeted:
Even @realDonaldTrump’s childcare plan gives billionaires w/ a nanny a tax break while millions of low-income households get nothing.
There is no love lost between Warren and Trump, and she has described Trump as a “loud, nasty, thin-skinned fraud” and also a “lousy cheating businessman.” Her most potent insult against Trump also included his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence, who she colloquially described together as “Two small, insecure, weak men who use hate & fear to divide our country & our people.”
Surprisingly, Trump has yet to issue a vitriol-laced tweet in reply to Warren’s tweets — which is in startling contrast to his previous insults of Warren who he has described as “Goofy” and “Pocahontas.” However, one can rest their heads at night knowing that it won’t be long before Trump takes to the Twittersphere to attack Warren baselessly once again.
