A new Pro-Hillary Television Ad is hitting the airwaves and it is hitting Trump where it hurts. Trump has pitched himself as a successful businessman, something which he has done by selling himself as a brand, rather than on any individual success. A Clinton Super-PAC is tearing that myth apart by spending $83 million to set the record straight.
The new television ad features Robert Kidder, the owner of the New England Shirt Company in Massachusetts, who says that Trump is LITERALLY taking the shirts off the backs of Americans.
Via TalkingPointsMemo:“Donald Trump’s brand of shirts come from China, his suits from Mexico, his coats from India,” Kidder says in the ad. “Trump’s products have been made in 12 other countries because he says there’s no place in America that he can make them.”
“Well, there is,” he adds. “You know, Donald Trump says he’ll make America great again while he’s taking the shirts right off our backs.”
The 30-second spot will begin airing this week and is part of a “previously announced broadcast buy in Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania,” according to the Clinton campaign.
Did you know that when Donald Trump inherited his fortune from his father, if he had invested into a stock index fund he would have more money today than he does? Although he claims to have a net worth of $10 billion, actual estimates have placed it at closer to $5 billion or less. No one knows for sure, since Trump refuses to release his tax returns.
Not only is it possible that Trump is faking his wealthy status, but it was recently revealed by a NYT investigation that Trump actually has massive debt.
To shift the spotlight away from his taxes, Trump and his campaign have started creating bizarre health conspiracies surrounding Hillary Clinton. As a result, people looking into Trump’s health, and found suggestions of possible drug addiction to a diet pill.
